Whilst not an exact science
Nor a criteria to judge Performance and Sales because there are far too many variances from country to country
Is whether Fretted Instruments -(Ukuleles& Nylon String Guitars)
Are part of a Country's School Music Programme

We have no specific expectation of Sales

That a Distributor should achieve in their country
There are so many variables from country to country in the instruments we manufacture

We do ask our Distributor partners to

Provide good representation of our products
Display confidence in our brands/products
Actively promote our prod-ucts to their Customers and Consumers
Carry a broad range of products under each brand to suit their market
Maintain as best as possible a stock holding to sup-port their Customer's Sales, thus maintaining our brand's importance to their customers and of course maximizing Sales for both you and us
Support our New products by, at very minimum, ordering samples and testing their market and have adequately trained personnel in sales , customer ser-vice and repairs/ adjustments to instruments

It's been because of a change of direction of a Distributor or lack of interest and focus of a Distributor

History

The formation of Team International in 1990 came about following the closure of C.C.& C.J. Tsai's father's Guitar Manufacturing plant in Taiwan, in which C.C.& C.J. had both worked part time when at school and full time after graduation.Team was originally formed to be a Distributor of Musical lnstruments in Taiwan and successfully distributed a number of brands, including major brands such as Gibson and Martin

After recognising the potential emergence of China as a new manufacturing source for Musical lnstruments, in 1994 Team International(China) was formed to research the Chinese market, which ultimately lead to designing of products and using OEM factories to produce them for export.

Long time friends of C.C.& C.J, Toshi Kikutani owner of Kikutani Music, a Distributor in Japan and Kevin Hague owner of Australasian Music Supplies, a Distributor in Australia became involved and used Team China to source products for their distribution companies and both were subsequently invited to become Shareholders of Team International which they accepted and remain Shareholders to this day. The outstanding success of Team International (China) lead to closure of the Distribution business in Taiwan in 2009 and the subsequent re-entry of the Tsai family to become Manufacturers again.

Team China currently has 27 personnel involved in the designing and sourcing of quality OEM Manufacturers to manufacture our products for sales around the world. We have a Warehouse facility to consolidate our products sourced from the various OEM Manufacturers and a team of 5 Inspectors/Quality Control personnel who ensure that our products are manufactured to our exacting standards. The majority of C.J.'s time and that of another Senior Manager is devoted to our Quality Control processes.
